The ARTS ACADEMY CHOIR is a musical and cultural association founded in November 2006, based on the guidelines of musical didactics and concert production.

Having germinated as an Academy of Arts, its main aim is to divulge and study, through the use of courses on musical didactics, of vocal technique and interpretation, the various forms of art such as: classical music, theatre, recital, dance, jazz music, Afro-American music, Spiritual and Gospel.

ARTS ACADEMY CHOIR is a no-profit association and sets its aim to invent and achieve musical projects that possess, as an element of aggregation and prestige, the fusion of different musical cultures , for the development of an artistic and musical awareness in general. For this reason some of its primary objectives are the organisation of events, conferences, seminars, concerts, parties and shows.

As laid out in its statute, the association organises musical projects in collaboration with other associations operating in the sphere of social aggregation, for the promotion of the individual and the quality of life, as well as with associations that battle against the discrimination and isolation of the less fortunate social categories.

The association in fact collaborates on a regular basis with different charitable institutes, running didactic, musical and concert activities with groups of inmates, thus bringing choral music into the prisons. It has been collaborating for some time now with ONLUS associations that operate in humanitarian sectors, organising charity and fundraising events, the results of which are destined to the less fortunate.

Within the association operates the homonymous Choir, founded and directed by its Maestro, Claudio Gnarini, who also has the post of President of the association.

ARTS ACADEMY CHOIR is a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural and interdenominational association, that welcomes choir members from different countries, of different races and with different musical and cultural experiences.

The Choir distinguishes itself by its study and execution of Afro-American pieces, from Spiritual to modern Gospel, without forgetting the study of the classical vocal technique and voice usage across diverse musical genders.

The Choir regularly collaborates with the JAZZ ACADEMY band, composed of six professional musicians who accompany the choir on their every performance.

Today, beyond continuing to study Spiritual and Gospel music, the Choir has struck out into the world of jazz music, by means of executing famous pieces that are a tribute to the great names in the history of jazz, such as : Duke Ellington. George Gershwin, ecc…

ARTS ACADEMY CHOIR is the result of a musical evolution that follows the history of mankind, from his most primitive musical expressions to modern and contemporary music. The constant research of new musical expressions and languages, its creative enthusiasm and its eclectic and versatile spirit are the elements that join together and animate his choristers and his band.
